Program name and sender
PennyGuide Updates is a text message program operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], LLC d/b/a PennyGuide. Messages are sent from PennyGuide.
Program descriptions
PennyGuide offers two separate text programs. You may join either, both, or neither by checking the matching, unchecked box on our sign-up form.
- Informational / account texts: subscription and sign-up confirmations, changes to your text preferences, and notifications about guides or tools you request.
- Marketing texts: seasonal money tips (such as tax season or back-to-school reminders), featured PennyGuide articles, and new free PennyGuide tools.
We only promote PennyGuide’s own educational content and tools. We do not send offers from lenders or other third parties.
Consent
By checking a box on our form and submitting your number, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages for the program(s) you selected at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase and is not required to use the Site.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies.
Cost
PennyGuide does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You may also email support@pennyguide.org to opt out.

Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder (or have the account holder’s permission) for the mobile number you provide.
Privacy
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
